DR. CLAUDIA COLLINS

Claudia Collins, MD Dr. Collins is Board-Certified in Family Medicine. She graduated from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas and completed her residency at Christus Santa Rosa Family Medicine Residency Program in San Antonio, Texas. Dr Collins has served the community at Kimaw Medical Center for almost 1 year now. Previously before coming to the Hoopa Valley, Dr. Collins spent several years working at various facilities around the country. She spent 5 months in Hoopa at the start of the COVID crisis in 2020. During those months, the people of Hoopa Valley Tribe had left a lasting impression on her that she knew she would be back. Some of her professional special interests include Women’s Health, Mental Health, Procedures, Dermatology, and Integrative Medicine. Outside of work you can find her mountain biking, training for triathlons, hiking, fishing, watercolor painting, reading, or at a K-pop concert. She is married and has 2 small dogs.
