Behavioral Health Services
Services include counseling for children, adolescents, adults, couples and families, assessment screenings, parenting skill sessions, crisis intervention, trauma and grief counseling, critical incident stress debriefing and training for emergency services personnel.
The substance abuse program provides clients with a number of vital services that include: one-on-one counseling for adolescents and adults, screening, assessments and testing, referral and inpatient placement, local sobriety sweats, meetings, an intensive outpatients program that includes behavior modification, prevention, relapse and addiction educational topics. Mental Health Services
Our staff include licensed & registered therapists who provide counseling services to individuals, children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families that address a broad range of concerns including, but not limited to the following:

Substance Abuse Services

Our Substance Abuse staff are comprised of Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselors that provide adult and youth clients with a number of vital services that include:

- Drug/Alcohol testing
- Intensive outpatient classes
- Relapse prevention
- Education
- Outreach
- Referral & placement for residential and detoxification services
- Aftercare planning
- Referrals
- Transitional sober living homes for men and women
Transitional Living
We have implemented the CTAS-Grant for the Sober Living homes for six women and six men located on the Hoopa reservation. This allows clients in early recovery to transition successfully back into the Hoopa Community. While being a resident in one of the men or women’s transitional houses, Behavioral Health offers a wide variety of services for success.
Intensive Outpatient Services
The Intensive Outpatient classes are held Monday-Friday, at the K'ima:w Behavioral Health Building. Hours may vary you can contact our office for more information on enrolling in classes.
