Health Information Management
Health Information Management (HIM) is the collection, analysis, storage, and protection of patient health information and medical records. Our KMC HIM Team is responsible for the organization and maintenance of all patients' medical records. Our KMC HIM Team is also responsible for coding diagnoses and procedures for reimbursement. At K’ima:w Medical Center we take every precaution to protect the privacy of every patient. We ensure that patients' health information remains confidential and is only released in accordance with KMC policy, federal, and state laws.
