Job Summary:
The Dental Director will be responsible to collaborate with the Dental Office Manager directing the day-to day operations of the Dental department, to implement programmatic and administrative policies and procedures in order to attain program goals and objectives. The Dental Director is responsible for quality of services, development and maintenance of all the quality assurance processes and supervises the Dental providers, contract providers, Hygienist, RDA Leads and overall Dental team. Serves as a working Dentist maintaining a limited patient case load.
Minimum Requirements:
- Degree in dental surgery (D.D.S.) or dental medicine (D.M.D.) from a school approved by the Council on Dental Education, American Dental Association
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Dental Administration
- Must have at least 5 years of experience and/or training with one of the following: post licensure professional experience in the general practice of dentistry, approved internship training, approved residency training, graduate-level study in accredited dental school, post licensure professional experience in a specialized area of practice, or other advanced study or training (outside a dental school or hospital) creditable towards satisfaction of training program requirements for Board eligibility
LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- Must have a Graduate degree from accredited U.S. Dental School
- Must have current State of California state license to practice dentistry
- Current DEA license
- Current CPR Certificate, ACLS, PALS certification required
Salary Range:
$204K - $271K per year DOE
