SUMMARY: Be responsible for the operation of the transportation of elderly to and from meal on a
delivery or home delivered meals.
FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Transport participants to and from program, and occasional out-of-area field trips (after regular work
hours and weekends), and delivery of home-delivered meals to individual homes.
• Complete transportation report daily, including mileage.
• Is responsible for ensuring that all vehicle maintenance is done in a timely and safe manner.
• Is responsible for maintenance logs and vehicle service records.
• Be responsible for passenger safety and comfort.
• Split wood and kindling, assist in keeping the fire burning, and maintain grounds inside fence surrounding
Nutrition building.
• Haul trash from Nutrition site as needed.
• Must have completed or will complete course in first aid and/or CPR.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Checking and recording temperatures of home delivered meals.
• Complete quarterly assessments. Complete nutrition screen, ADL, IADL annually on all Title Ill C-2
participants.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and
one to three months related experience and/or training.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Current CPR certificate; valid California Driver's license.
