Introduction:
K’ima:w Medical Center, an entity of the Hoopa Valley Tribe, seeks to solicit a qualified network support partner to identify problems and present solutions to alleviate cloud-based phone system and data network problems. Additionally, the partner must provide training for the IT staff related to the network systems and connectivity to routers, switches, etc. It is the purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) to obtain a qualified vendor to evaluate and identify a solution for our network related issues.
Background:
K'ima:w Medical Center consists of a campus of 12 buildings connected by fiber and one, off site building connected by fiber. There are 120 to 160 employees.
K’ima:w Medical Center (KMC) has Meraki Switches and Access points. Currently, KMC utilizes Indian Health Service’s 77 medical packages for all medical data with 4 interfaces to Dentrix, ScriptPro, LabCorp, and an Imaging Provider (HealthShare /ensemble). KMC also utilizes a virtual scribe program (SkywriterMD), where users connect to a device on campus.

Bid Submission Date:
Responsive bids must be received by Friday, February 24, 2023, at 5:00 pm, PST.
Scope of Project:
- Domain controller from Server 2016 to Server 2019
- Bigleaf Network Evaluation: We are on Bigleaf Networks but now that we have enough bandwidth, Bigleaf is limiting bandwidth/per plan. Do we need Bigleaf? Evaluate and/or activate Meraki MX in order to use the WAN ports
- Network Separation Evaluation: Business from Medical network as a viable alternative
- Increase IP addresses
- Evaluate VPN usage
Scope of Bid:
Bids should be based on “Scope of Project” above.
K’ima:w Medical Center reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or any part thereof, to waive any formalities or informalities and further, to award the services to the most responsive and responsible Proposer, according to KMC’s evaluation and as deemed to be in the best interest of K’ima:w Medical Center.
