Dr. Jeanne Kimura is a licensed clinical psychologist with a certification in Maternal Mental Health. She attended graduate school at the American School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University, San Francisco Bay Area. Dr. Kimura completed predoctoral work in community mental health at The Faulk Center for Counseling in Boca Raton, Florida and her psychology fellowship at Hillsborough County Public Schools in Tampa, Florida. Dr. Kimura is a warmhearted psychologist who supports and encourages personal growth through working collaboratively with individuals from a place of acceptance, kindness, and respect. She is enthusiastic about helping individuals and families thrive and grow in relationship with self, community, and nature. Dr. Kimura has an adult son, two daughters, and a grandson, and lives in Southern California where she enjoys spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys hiking, kayaking, and leading groups as a certified Nature and Forest Therapy guide. Dr. Kimura is delighted to be joining the team and looking forward to meeting the community.
Dr. Kimura came to K'ima:w Medical Center as a Locum Provider. After completing 1 year she has now joined our team as a permanent provider.
