My name is Vanessa Akines; I’ve been a part of the Nursing profession for well over 20 years. I started my career at the VA Hospital in Tampa FL. As a student practical nurse. I’ve always enjoyed caring for people in and outside of my career. I graduated from the University of Phoenix 5 years ago as an FNP. I started working in rural communities as my way of giving back to the profession of nursing.
