DR. STEVEN SUST

Dr. Steven Sust received his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at George Washington University, worked as a psychiatric technician at a Virginia State Psychiatric facility and NIMH research fellow in imaging genetics research before attending Univ. of VA School of Medicine. After completing general psychiatry training at the Univ. of PA and then child & adolescent psychiatry fellowship training at Stanford University in the Community Track, Dr. Sust has stayed on as clinical faculty working on integrated care in primary care clinics for medically underserved urban and rural minority communities including Two Feathers Native American Family Services, United Indian Health Services, Ravenswood Family Health Network, La Clinica, and North East Medical Services. In his work with the Stanford Center for Youth Mental Health and Wellbeing, the team further extends education and awareness about youth mental health through their ECHO's for Native American Youth Mental Health and School Mental Health which are open to the public so please join each of them! 

Hobbies: binge watching lots of movies and TV including learning all of the funny nuances I overlooked in legendary shows like Reservation Dogs. 

Fun fact about me: My parents are Chinese immigrants in the early 1960's and our family name was supposed to be "Su", but (in classic American immigrant style) our name got changed to "Sust".
