Please join us in welcoming Maizal Rivera, FNP, to K’ima:w Medical Center’s Acorn Team!
Mr. Rivera is a Family Nurse Practitioner with more than 15 years of healthcare experience. He earned his medical education from the University of Texas Medical School at San Antonio in 2012. As a Nurse Practitioner, Rivera provides comprehensive primary care services, including physical examinations, ordering and interpreting laboratory tests, managing chronic and acute conditions, and prescribing medications.
Rivera previously served the K’ima Medical Center community for more than a year as a traveling locum provider. He has now returned as a permanent Primary Care Provider to continue serving the Hoopa Valley community.
During his time here, Rivera developed a strong appreciation for the Hoopa Valley and the community that welcomed him. He is excited to return and looks forward to continuing to provide quality healthcare to our patients and families.
